We are talking about the victims of sexual crimes of Russia’s military, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Within a month of working in the Kyiv region, a special mobile police group found 13 people who had suffered sexual crimes by the Russian military. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Deputy Interior Minister Ekaterina Pavlichenko said that during this period 21 settlements were made, approximately 340 people were interviewed, 13 victims of sexual violence were found, and a pre-trial investigation of the two facts of the rape of Russian occupiers were launched.
According to Pavlichenko, since May 10, the mobile group has been working in the Sumy region, and other unoccupied territories will be gradually occupied.
In general, police work in two directions in documenting and investigating sexual crimes: it checks all information online and processes arrangements under employment, the report says.
The group is made up of specialists with experience in professional communication with victims of violence. Police and psychologists explain where to go for help.
It was previously reported that the military of the Russian Federation has committed sexual violence not only against women and girls, but also against adults and infants. The smallest did not survive after that.
