House collapse in Marseille: six bodies found

The rescue operation continues, at least two people are being searched under the rubble at the scene.

French rescuers found a sixth body in the rubble of collapsed buildings in Marseille. Reuters reported this on April 11.

After Sunday’s incident on Tivoli Street, eight people were considered missing. The bodies of four of them were found earlier.

Five people were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Recall that on the night of April 9, an explosion thundered in the center of Marseille, as a result of which a four-story residential building collapsed, and two buildings adjacent to it were damaged.

The cause of the incident is not yet known, one of the possible reasons is a gas explosion.
