At least five people were killed in a shooting that took place on April 10 in Louisville, Kentucky (this is the southern United States).

The Wall Street Journal writes that six people, including a police officer, were injured, all the victims were hospitalized.
Around 8:30 a.m. local time (3:30 p.m. Kyiv time), reports began to come in of shooting in the city center, police said. Approximately an hour and a half after the incident, the police reported that the attacker was “neutralized.” FBI agents are on the scene.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said he was on his way to Louisville.
Local residents have been advised not to approach East Main Street in Louisville. Video from the scene shows armed police surrounding a commercial facility in the area.

At a brief press conference, the police said that the police officers who arrived on call found active gunfire at the scene.
