At least three people were killed and five others were injured last night as a result of Russian bombardments in the area of the city. ZaporozhyeThis is reported by the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN.
Among the dead are a man and his 11-year-old daughter who died under the rubble, the head of the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration said. Yuri Malashkoin his Telegram channel, UNIAN reports.
“Terrorist fighters from the Russian Federation killed three innocent neighbors in the region and five more were injured as a result of enemy shelling. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care,” he said.
Malashko clarified that the bombed cities origami, Gulyaipole and 15 other cities, as well as the city of Zaporozhyewith one missile strike, four aerial bombardments, five drone strikes and 46 artillery rounds.
Zelensky’s statement
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy referred to this attack on Zaporozhye in his usual evening speech. “Tonight, the Russian army shelled Zaporozhye with S-300 missiles,” he stressed.
