The incident occurred today, April 9, in the village of Snezhkovka, Izyumsky district, on the territory of a private household. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region.
A man, born in 1985, stepped on a “petal” mine in the garden. As a result of the explosion, he received shrapnel wounds of varying severity. He was taken to the city hospital. The final circumstances of the emergency are being investigated, the report says.
The State Emergency Service notes the importance of maintaining discretion and caution in the region.
Do not drive on unknown or untested dirt roads. Do not touch any suspicious or unfamiliar objects. Do not visit forests, forest belts, fields, floodplains and other open spaces, especially those where there were battles or were under hostile occupation.
