In Ukraine, 468 children have already become victims of a full-scale Russian invasion, and at least 947 more children have received injuries of varying severity.

This was announced today, April 9, by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
These figures are not final. Work is underway to install them in places of warfare, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the department notes.
Children in the following regions suffered the most:
- Donetsk region – 449;
- Kharkiv region – 275;
- Kyiv region – 127;
- Kherson region – 94;
- Zaporozhye region – 89;
- Mykolaiv region – 85;
- Chernihiv region – 68;
- Lugansk region – 66;
- Dnepropetrovsk region – 66.
In particular, the following cases have been recorded:
- On April 9, the Russian military launched a rocket attack on the city of Zaporozhye. One rocket hit a private residential building, which led to its destruction and the death of an 11-year-old girl;
- On April 8, as a result of enemy shelling of the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region, a 15-year-old teenager was injured.
