Ruslan Kravchenko will become the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration. The draft decree of the President of Ukraine on the appointment on April 7 was supported by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The previous head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kuleba went to work in the Office of the President.
Kravchenko works as the head of the Buchansk district prosecutor’s office in the Kyiv region. Prior to that, he was the head of the department of procedural guidance for criminal proceedings on crimes in the field of the military-industrial complex of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
In 2019-2020 – Deputy Military Prosecutor of the Central Region of Ukraine.
Even earlier, he worked in the military prosecutor’s office under the leadership of Anatoly Matios and also represented the prosecution in the trial of Yanukovych.
Kravchenko took part in the competition for the position of head of NABU.
According to the results of the interviews, the Commission for the Selection of Candidates to the NABU recognized Kravchenko as unvirtuous. Why this happened, the candidate does not understand, because no explanation was provided to him.
It is known that the Commission had several questions to the candidate. In 2019, Kravchenko privatized a service apartment, and then sold it very quickly. Also in 2020, Kravchenko managed to work in the prosecutor’s office and at the same time undergo an internship with a lawyer lasting 550 hours. According to the candidate, he interned every day after work and on weekends.
