Natalya Gumenyuk noted that the Ukrainian military did not record the strong presence of the enemy in this region.
Ukrainian defenders significantly pushed back the Russian invaders on the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not record the continued presence of the enemy in this region. This is what the head of the press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, said on Espresso air on Friday, April 6.
“We are working quite successfully, about which we already have some information. But it is still too early to talk about our successes, so the work continues. And we will report a little later. In general, I would note that we have significantly pressed the enemy at Kinburn Spit,” he said.
The spokesman added that the invaders were making sorties every two days to capture the Dnieper-Bug estuary. The Russians are trying this way to show that they supposedly control the sea transport routes.
“However, the firm presence of the enemy there was not recorded,” he added.
According to him, the invaders are gathering closer to the mainland and trying to hide behind civilians.
As already reported, in the past day, on March 21, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian tank, two armored vehicles, two reconnaissance drones and an ammunition depot at the Kinburn Spit in the south.
