A projector was installed on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Zhytomyr region, with the help of which videos about the war are broadcast to Belarus on a huge screen.
This is reported by the oppositional Belarusian publications “Zerkalo” and Belsat.
According to eyewitnesses, what is shown on the screen is clearly visible and audible in Belarus. These are, in particular:
- cut from Lukashenka’s ledge, where he promises to support Russia;
- footage of the consequences of strikes on Ukrainian cities inflicted from the territory of Belarus;
- footage of the dead in Bucha;
- an excerpt from the appeal of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the Belarusians with an appeal not to participate in the war;
- national Belarusian white-red-white flags, which Ukrainians hung out on the border.
A border propaganda confrontation has been going on between Ukraine and Belarus for some time now.
Yes, Ukraine, for its part, placed calls for Belarusians not to become occupiers, like the Russians. For their part, the Belarusian border guards put up campaign boards promising to find “real occupiers” (alluding to the United States).
