The pre-trial investigation into the case of Oleg Kulinich, the former head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Crimea, has been completed.
In addition, new evidence of Kulinich’s cooperation with the Russian Federal Security Service has emerged. In particular, the SBU, together with the DBR, published the interception of his conversations with the former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Vladimir Sivkovich. These conversations are included in the materials of the criminal proceedings, which were completed by the investigators. This was reported on April 7 by the press center of the Security Council of Ukraine.
According to the head of the special service, Vasily Malyuk, the SBU carried out undercover and technical penetration into the ranks of the FSB and was able to obtain all the files in which Kulinich reported to Moscow information, including secret information, about the situation in our Ukraine, the SBU and attempts to influence various processes Kulinich also followed the instructions of the curators to carry out intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine, espionage, placement of “his people” in various state and law enforcement agencies, incitement of citizens to treason.
It turned out that Kulinich cooperated with the FSB operative pseudonym “Kotigoroshko”. The attacker oversaw the so-called “political office” in Moscow, organized on the instructions of the FSB by the former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Vladimir Sivkovich and the former head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev.
This office in Moscow is a kind of “mole farm”. Its main task is to collect information and work on Ukraine. There are personnel officers of the 5th FSB service in the office. And directly they, in full cooperation with Sivkovich, interacted with Kulinich. After he passed on the information, they reported to the FSB,” Malysh said.
Law enforcers had previously charged Kulinich with high treason, the creation of a criminal organization, unauthorized leaving the place of service under martial law, and possession of weapons and their illegal possession.
Recall, the media reported that the former head of the SBU department in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (stationed in Kherson), detained on suspicion of treason, on the eve of the Russian invasion at about 1.00 on February 24, received information about plans for an attack from Crimea.
