Many Russian industries have found themselves at the center of blocking sanctions, Vladimir Putin said.
Western countries have imposed sanctions against the aggressor country Russia for a long time. Therefore, it needs to develop proposals of “sovereign development” for the long term. This opinion was expressed by the current President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council on Tuesday, April 4.
“We all understand that sanctions, of course, are for the long term, therefore, along with priority measures to replace imported technologies and products, medium- and long-term changes are needed here, aimed at the strategic goals of the country’s sovereign development. ,” Putin said.
He acknowledged that “many industries are at the center of sanctions blocking.” However, according to him, Russia allegedly managed to “concentrate resources and efforts to ensure the stability of the economic situation.”
According to Putin, “this is work in an operational, very intense mode,” but “we are already seeing its positive results.”
“Moreover, we have entered a new cycle of economic growth,” he said.
It will be remembered that in the first two months of 2023, Russia will almost fulfill the annual budget deficit plan. But the Russian Ministry of Finance does not lose heart. They believe that such estimates of budget implementation “match the dynamics.”
