The Ukrainian military continues to hold back the brutal attacks of the Russian invaders.
The enemy concentrated his main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. During Saturday, April 1, units of the Defense Forces repelled more than 70 enemy attacks in the indicated directions. The hottest battles remain for the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Maryinka. This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for April 2.
Over the past 24 hours, Air Force aviation has delivered eight strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Also, fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the Orlan-10 type.
The servicemen of the missile forces and artillery hit three areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, two enemy ammunition and one multiple launch rocket system.
Recall that the General Staff stated that the attacks of the occupiers in the Limansky direction remain unsuccessful, and in the Bakhmut direction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to courageously hold the line. Also, the enemy is not particularly successful in the Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions.
