The head of the President’s Office thanked the film legend for supporting Ukraine and stance on the war unleashed by Russia.

Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak on Wednesday, May 18, spoke via videoconference with renowned American film actor, director and producer Robert de Niro and producer Jane Rosenthal. This was reported to the OP.

It was noted that the OP chief’s interlocutors were co-founders of the Tribeca Film Festival, created in reaction to the September 11 attacks in the United States, and Rosenthal offered to show a video message from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky among the participants and guests of the festival, held June 8-19. Yermak supported this idea.

The head of the Office of the President expressed gratitude to the producers for their support in Ukraine and their position in the brutal war waged by Russia against our state. Yermak also suggested that de Niro and Rosenthal consider joining in support of the Ukrainian project United24.

Finally, the Kyiv representative approached the legendary actor with a proposal to visit Ukraine, to which he replied that he looked forward to the opportunity.

Earlier, Yermak spoke with famous Hollywood actress UN Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie. The head of the Presidential Office thanked the star on his visit to Ukraine.
