Andriy Yermak noted that Ukraine considers it very important to create an International Special Tribunal for the Russian leadership.
Ukraine is waiting for the UN General Assembly to adopt a resolution to punish Russia for the crime of aggression. The Head of the Office of the President Andrey Yermak said this at the opening of an exhibition in New York dedicated to the war crimes of the Russian Federation in Bucha, the press service of the Office of the President reports.
“On behalf of my suffering countrymen, I call on all of you to support this resolution. And I ask you to do everything possible to hold the terrorist state accountable for the crimes it has committed,” Yermak said .
On the initiative of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on March 31 – the day of the liberation of Bucha – in New York, 100 meters from the UN, in room 866 United Nations Plaza, the opening of the international exhibition “Ukraine . Crucifixion . Tribunal” took place. The exhibition is devoted to the crimes of the Russian Federation in Ukraine and was presented on the eve of the consideration of the UN on the issue of creating an International Tribunal that will punish Russia for the crimes of aggression.
Yermak noted that Ukraine considers it very important to create an International Special Tribunal for the Russian leadership and said that 90,000 Russian war crimes have already been recorded in Ukraine.
“Russia’s war crimes are senseless and obvious that the International Criminal Court recently issued an arrest warrant for the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. First of all, the main and main crime committed by the dictator of Russia is definitely an act of aggression,” emphasized the head of the Office of the President.
Andriy Yermak emphasizes that not only Putin is to blame for the aggression against Ukraine – dozens of people from his entourage participated in organizing the war.
“All these people should get what they deserve. For this, a special tribunal should be created that will judge and punish them,” explained Yermak.
It was previously reported that Zelensky and European leaders paid tribute to the Bucha victims.
