Croatia is ready to help Ukraine in the issue of rehabilitation of veterans, restoration, protection of cultural heritage from the war.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal on Friday, March 31, held a meeting in Kyiv with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andriy Plenkovic. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Shmyhal thanked Croatia for its continued support in the war with the Russian Federation and for its intention to transfer the Mi-8 helicopter.
“Croatia, a state, despite the difficult path of post-war reconstruction, successfully fully integrated into the EU. Your experience in the field of European integration, post-war reconstruction, veterans policy, and demining is very important to us,” said the prime minister of Ukraine.
As mentioned by the Prime Minister of Croatia, the country is ready to help Ukraine in the issue of rehabilitation of veterans, restoration, protection of cultural heritage from the war. Croatia is also preparing initiatives at the European Commission level to assist Ukraine in humanitarian demining.
It will be remembered that today the prime ministers of three European countries came to Ukraine – Croatian Prime Minister Andrey Plenkovic, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger and Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob.
It was previously reported that Croatia will help with the withdrawal of Ukrainian territory.
