Supporters of the UOC-MP, who gathered today today near the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, said that the story of the eviction of the Russian-controlled church will end with the “liquidation of Ukrainian power” and the transition of some regions to other states.
The speaker of the UOC-MP Clement stated that their monks are not going to be evicted from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, because “there are no legal grounds.”
Note that law enforcement officers can check such rhetoric of the parishioners of the UOC-MP regarding the violation of Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine – is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to five years with or without confiscation of property) or Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power – shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of five to 10 years with or without confiscation of property).
Recall that earlier representatives of the UOC-MP stated that they would not leave the territory of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
