The Russian military are trying to arrange provocations on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. This is evidenced by a new interception by the SBU, which the special service published on March 29 on its Facebook.
In it, a Russian military man, “tour” along our border, tells his friend about it.
we are in the same city (in Belarus, – approx.). Here, too, they stir up troubles … They go to provocations, to all sorts of bullshit … In short, they provoke halls from this side so that they, like, attack the Belarusian one … Well, to connect, I guess. We are a thousand and a half came here, – he says.
And his interlocutor at this time is fighting in the Donetsk direction and expects that a comrade’s unit will be sent to help here.
However, he refutes:
… we move from place to place again. Moving every day! We have already visited all over Belarus. We were in the same city, now we have moved to the border with Poland. Near Poland.
The SBU says that such actions indicate that Russia does not stop trying to draw Belarus directly into the war against Ukraine and does it by any means.
