Belarus will face new European sanctions if it allows Russia to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on its territory. This was announced on Tuesday, March 28, by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Reuters reports.
“The announcement of the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus will certainly lead to the announcement of additional sanctions, the level of sanctions will be more severe for the Lukashenka regime,” Morawiecki said.
He added that he is in daily talks with other European Union leaders about the 11th package of sanctions against Russia and that it will include more measures against Belarus.
