Germany confirms delivery of Leopard tanks to Ukraine

German tanks have arrived in Ukraine. Kyiv also received kits with ammunition and spare parts.

German authorities have already transferred 18 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. This was announced on the evening of March 27 by the German Ministry of Defense in Twitter.

It was also reported that Ukraine received kits with ammunition and spare parts from Berlin.

“Promised – delivered: 18 Leopard 2 A6 main battle tanks arrived in Ukraine today, as well as kits with ammunition and spare parts,” the ministry said.

Recall that on Monday, the German edition of Der Spiegel reported that the Leopard 2 tank from Germany is already in Ukraine, however, there is no official confirmation.
