In the two houses most damaged by the Russian shelling, dozens of apartments were unfit for habitation.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on a working trip to the Zaporizhia region, inspected houses in Zaporizhia that were damaged as a result of Russia’s shelling on March 22, the press service of the head of state reports.
The head of the military administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yuriy Malashko, and the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region, Artem Kisko, reported to the president about the conditions of the shelling of the enemy and the elimination of consequences.
It is noted that in the two most damaged houses, dozens of apartments are not suitable for living.
In particular, as a result of a bullet hitting one of the nine-story buildings, the supporting structures of one of the entrances were damaged. The collapse of the structures of the upper floors of this part of the building did not happen, but there is a high probability of this. Therefore, it is necessary to dismantle this part of the building using special equipment.
Injured residents were given the necessary medical assistance. A mobile hospital has been set up at the site. Temporary housing is provided for those in need.
In the area of the tragedy, there are help centers and mobile centers where people can get all the necessary advice and apply for financial assistance.

As reported, on March 27, Zelensky made a working trip to the Zaporozhye region, where he visited the advanced positions of the Ukrainian military.
It will be remembered that on March 22, the Russian invaders fired missiles at Zaporozhye, as a result, high-rise buildings were destroyed. More than 20 people were injured, including three children.
