According to eyewitnesses, in a field near the village of Ishchenko, the victim collected “Petals”. One of the mines detonated in his hands, the report says. – With injuries to both upper limbs and abdomen, he was hospitalized in the nearest medical facility. For further treatment, the man is planned to be transferred to Krivoy Rog.
The Kherson Regional Military District notes that only professional sappers should deal with the disposal of explosives.
If you see a mine, don’t touch it! Move to a safe distance and report the find to rescuers or police by calling 101 or 102, the department notes.
