Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian border guards have refused to cross the border to more than 350 civil servants.
Since the beginning of 2023, the border guards have not allowed more than 350 border civil servants without reason to travel outside of Ukraine. This was announced by the representative of the State Border Service Andrei Demchenko on the air of the telethon.
“At the moment, from the entry into force of the state border changes, our inspectors did not enter more than 350 people who fall under this list (civil servants – ed.), because they did not meet the requirements for crossing the border,” the spokesperson said.
For this category of people, it is provided that they can travel outside of Ukraine only for the purpose of a business trip. This applies to both men and women.
There is one exception, which cannot go on a business trip. These are men who are single parents, as well as women who are visiting children abroad or accompanying them. It is also possible to travel for treatment, but in this case, there must be confirmation from the Ministry of Health.
The State Border Service receives a list of civil servants, and border guards control the border crossing of these officials.
Earlier it was reported that at the end of the first year of a full-scale war in the Russian Federation, 3.5 thousand civil servants were fighting at the front. 108 officers died.
In Ukraine, the number of officers decreased by 5.2% throughout the year
