Part of the victim’s leg was amputated and he was hospitalized. Local authorities urge to avoid areas that have not been checked by sappers.
A man was blown up by a Russian mine near Velyka Aleksandrovka in the Kherson region. This was announced on March 22 by the press service of the regional military administration.
It was learned that another tragic incident took place in the forest outside the village. The 48-year-old victim lost part of his leg and was hospitalized.
OVA stressed that people are ignoring warnings not to visit areas that have not been tested for explosives.
“Even if there is a great need to visit a forest, a farm, a country house, a river or other potentially dangerous places, do not do it,” local authorities urged.
It was previously reported that since the beginning of the war, explosives experts have neutralized more than 400 thousand shells left by the Russian invaders.
