Belarusian special services are said to have neutralized a foreign terrorist in Grodno and seized an arsenal of weapons.
In Grodno, special service officers neutralized a “foreign terrorist abandoned in Belarus.” This was announced on Tuesday, March 21, by the head of the ruling regime, Alexander Lukashenko.
“The special services worked very well. A whole arsenal of weapons and explosives, intended for high-profile terrorist attacks against citizens, officials of state bodies, was confiscated,” the BelTA state agency quoted Lukashenka as saying.
The official Belarusian leader said the terrorist fought back, using small arms and grenades, but none of the Belarusian law enforcement officers were killed in the battle. And “foreign terrorist plans have been documented.”
It should be reminded that earlier Lukashenko signed a law on the death penalty for officers and military, charged with “high treason” by the judicial institutions of Belarus.
