The occupation authorities have introduced a state of emergency in Dzhankoy.
After night strikes by unknown meme drones, the railway infrastructure was damaged, which the Russians use to overturn troops, equipment and ammunition.
Dzhankoy is a key railway junction in the Crimea for communication with the Kherson region. If this node is disabled, Russian terrorists will probably not be able to supply weapons to the Black Sea Fleet, as well as to the occupied parts of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
The telegram channels of Russia and the ASTRA resource write that the locomotive depot, the station security building, the material and fuel depots at the railway station in Dzhankoy were significantly damaged as a result of yesterday’s drone attack.
Also, as a result of the attack on the station, there were interruptions in the network of the locomotive depot.
Officially, the Russians do not confirm that drones hit the infrastructure, although the head of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that in the Dzhankoy area, he “worked out air defense.” Fragments of drones were found on two streets of the city, the chairman of Dzhankoya, appointed by the Muscovites, noted.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that several Caliber-NK cruise missiles were destroyed in Dzhankoy during their transportation by rail. These missiles, the GUR noted, are intended for launches from ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
