There may be brief power outages in certain areas in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions.
Ukraine’s energy system continues to operate without restrictions to consumers with power reserves, but due to network damage, consumers in two regions may be without power. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Tuesday, March 21.
It is now indicated that generation with margin provides the required amount of power for the needs of electricity consumers across the country.
At the same time, repairs are still ongoing to the network infrastructure facilities that suffered as a result of the last massive shelling by the Russians. As a result, short-term power outages are possible in some areas of Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions.
On the eve it was reported that the capacities increased in Ukraine after the repair of the thermal power plants. In recent days, electricity supply has been restored to about 15,000 subscribers in the Donetsk region in areas affected by Russia’s shelling.
Also on Monday it was learned that in the Kherson region the electricity supply will be temporarily cut off in some settlements.
