On the evening of Sunday, May 15, President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra and all Ukrainians on their victory in the Eurovision 2022 international song contest. The corresponding message was published on his Telegram channel.
“Our bravery amazes the world, our music covers Europe! Next year Ukraine will host Eurovision! For the third time in its history. And I believe this is not the last time,” said the message.
According to the president, Ukraine will do everything so that once the participants and guests of Eurovision will be hosted by Ukrainian Mariupol – free, peaceful, rebuilt.
