In accordance with Article 54 of the Supplementary Protocol to the Geneva Conventions for the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I) on June 8 , 1977, it is prohibited to attack or destroy, remove or render unusable objects necessary for the safety of the civilian population, ”Denisova said.
