In the Verkhovna Rada on March 20, the powers of the People’s Deputy of European Solidarity Mikhail Zabrodsky were terminated ahead of schedule.
It is expected that he, as a lieutenant general, will continue to concentrate on helping the General Staff.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko’s party reported that their people’s deputy is drawing up a mandate.
Zabrodsky is a lieutenant general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so he decided to concentrate on the help of the General Staff.
From 2013 to 2015, Zabrodsky was the commander of the 95th separate airmobile brigade. Under his leadership, an important stronghold was captured – Mount Karachun, he participated in the battles for Maryinka. Subsequently, he became the commander of the ATO forces.
In 2019, he was elected a People’s Deputy of the 9th convocation from the EU party, and Zabrodsky also served as First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence.
Currently, 404 people’s deputies remain in the parliament.
People’s Deputy Aleksey Goncharenko from the EU faction writes that Zabrodsky may be appointed Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
