The State Secretary of the Polish Council of Ministers, Stanislav Zharin, said that the Russian spy network, which is probably preparing sabotage in Poland and monitoring railway routes for transporting weapons to Ukraine, is operating in the country for a while, PAP reports.
“Actually, we are not dealing with a permanent activity that should continue from the beginning of the war, it started recently,” said Zharin.
According to him, the Polish intelligence services discovered the activities of this group at an early stage, so they managed to neutralize the biggest threat.
“We are not eliminating the need for more arrests, because we realize that the evidence in this case is overwhelming, it is still being analyzed, and we will see where the investigative services come from in this case,” said a Polish government spokesman.
