LE FIGARO. – Do you think Ukraine will be militarily strong enough to force Russia to retreat, and do you see a chance for peace this year?
Annalena BAERBOCK. – We are working on it day and night. But as long as Putin is bombing innocent people, violating the UN Charter, and withdrawing his troops, we will support Ukraine as long as necessary. It is clear that in the long run peace and freedom cannot be achieved by military means alone.
