Alissa Carlson, a meteorologist at KCAL CBS in Los Angeles, is recovering from a head injury after collapsing Saturday in a moment that alarmed colleagues and viewers alike.

NBC News reported that staff immediately called 911 and Carlson was taken to the hospital for treatment.
“Thank you for all the messages, calls and well wishes,” Carlson wrote on Facebook on Saturday. “I will be fine!”
On Sunday, he added that he was recovering from a head injury and had left the hospital.
“Luckily it’s not my heart this time,” she wrote, referring to a 2014 incident in which she vomited while on air at KGET, the NBC station in Bakersfield, Calif., that turned out to be caused by a leaky heart valve. .
