Italy and France have agreed to provide air defense to Ukraine to help it protect its cities from Russian air attacks.
A group of about 20 Ukrainian servicemen completed their training program in Italy. They are trained in the Samp-T anti-missile system. On Sunday, March 19, ANSA reported, citing its own sources.

It is specified that the exercises were held in Sabaudia (province of Latina south of Rome).
The SAMP/T-MAMBA system is the equivalent of the American Patriot system. It is capable of tracking and intercepting dozens of targets, including ballistic missiles. A SAM launcher is armed with 8 missiles.
It was also noted that Italy and France agreed to provide this system to Ukraine to help it protect its cities from Russian air attacks.
