People’s Deputy from the People’s Servant Volodymyr Gevko became a participant in a traffic accident in which one person died. On Sunday, March 19, Gevko wrote on his page on the social network Facebook.
“Today there was a traffic accident that ended in tragedy. I was one of the participants in this terrible incident, the doctors, unfortunately, could not save the other,” he wrote.
The Town Deputy assured that from the first minutes of the accident he was cooperating with the investigation.
“For me, I passed all the checks for alcohol and drugs, I passed all the necessary tests and in the future I will participate in all investigative and procedural actions,” he stressed.
Gevko was elected People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation in the 167th constituency (Ternopil region) from the Servant of the People party.
He is the deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Budget, as well as the chairman of the Ternopil regional organization of the Servant of the People party.
