President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a conversation between representatives of Ukraine and the United States in an expanded defense format. The head of state announced this in a video message on Saturday, March 18.
“On the Ukrainian side, there was the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief, the commanders of the operational areas – these are Generals Syrsky and Tarnavsky, the Air Force Commander, the Head of the Office. I joined the -this conversation,” Zelensky said.
According to him, “the goal is obvious – it is to strengthen our soldiers, new solutions so that Ukraine can take active actions and defend itself from fear of Russia, to restore real security.”
Zelensky emphasized that today there is only one topic that destroys life: Russia. And in the fight against such an enemy, there is only one way to protect life – to expel the Russian army from Ukrainian soil.
