A night attack by kamikaze drones on Ukraine led to explosions in the Lviv region.
The region was attacked by Shahed 136-type kamikaze drones around 01:00 on March 18. It was preliminarily established that there were six enemy drones. Three of them were shot down by the air defense forces of Air Command West. The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky announced this on Telegram.
Three more drones hit non-residential premises in the Yavorovsky district. The premises were damaged, but no one was hurt.
Recall that on the night of March 17-18, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made strike drones of the Shahed-136/131 type. Enemy drones were sent from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov and from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
The forces and means of the air commands of the Center, East and West destroyed 11 kamikaze UAVs. They were shot down in the central, western and eastern regions.
