Britain will help the ISS in the investigation of the Putin case

British Justice Minister Dominic Raab promised to help the International Criminal Court in The Hague with a forensic medical examination and investigation of the charges against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

It will be, as I suspect, a long process, but the same was said about Yugoslavia, about Rwanda, and many of the people responsible for the bloodshed ended up in court,” Raab quoted the BBC as saying.

He argues that in the near future it will be difficult to travel around the world, since many countries that are members of the ISS will be required to arrest him.

But now it is important that those members of the international community who support the ISS make sure that the court has sufficient support in the investigation, in the forensic examination, in the interview of witnesses, in the technical support. And this is what we will do here in London together with our Dutch colleagues and our partners around the world,” said the UK Attorney General.
