Sources of several Ukrainian media in the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the people’s deputy of Golos Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reported that the Verkhovna Rada would dismiss the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Pavel Ryabikin. He will go as an ambassador to China.
Instead of Ryabikin, the former head of Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Kamyshin will become the minister.
Back in the summer, the government discussed the possibility of liquidating or transforming this ministry, there were different options – to reorganize it into a kind of agency under the Ministry of Defense and even merge it with the Ministry of Digital Development. But later, the idea of reincarnation of the ministry appeared in the Office of the President.
In addition, Zheleznyak writes in a Telegram that instead of the pro-Russian plagiarist and friend of Dmitry Tabachnik, Sergei Shkarlet, Oksen Lesnoy, now a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, can become the Minister of Education.
Until February 24, 2022, he was the president of the Minor Academy of Sciences.
Lesnoy is a volunteer of the 95th brigade of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He has been participating in hostilities for almost a year, while simultaneously acting as the head of the MAN. In 2012, Lesnoy became a laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of education.
Recall that the Minister of Education and Science Sergei Shkarlet must write a letter of resignation. Interlocutors of the UP in the profile committee of the parliament and the leadership of the Servant of the People faction said that “this is not his initiative, but he was asked.”
The decision is long overdue. We hope that this decision will not be rolled back, because after the resignation of Reznikov, I am no longer sure of anything, ”said one of the interlocutors.
