A Couple from New York said he found rat in his beef soup they bought at a Manhattan restaurant and posted a photo showing the dead animal’s limbs in his meal, several local media outlets reported Thursday.
The rat was inside a traditional Korean dish called gukbap, which usually includes vegetables and beef.
Eunice Lucero-Lee, a Filipino immigrant, said her husband made a shocking discovery while eating his order last Saturday.
“My husband pushed the table back and threw up because he just found rat in our food. It was pretty awful,” he told amNY Metro.
“The worst thing is that I already ate half of mine, and he – two-thirds, when he said:“ What is this piece? And what he first thought was a vegetable was apparently cola,” she recalls.

He also indicated that she also vomited and that they were both taken to an emergency center where they were prescribed antibiotics.
The couple sued the restaurant, the woman said on her Instagram account.
