The rule of law operates in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, so everyone can trust the ongoing investigation, the Danish Foreign Minister said.
Denmark will not give permission to the Russian Federation to participate in investigations into the explosions in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. This was reported by the portal The Local with reference to Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lekke Rasmussen.
“Denmark has said it will not allow Russia to participate in investigations into the explosions at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines,” the statement said.
According to Rasmussen, the rule of law operates in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, so everyone can trust the ongoing investigation.
“We told the Russians that we will conduct a thorough investigation. And when we do, we will announce the results of the work,” the Danish foreign minister said.
Recall that the fate of the two damaged Nord Stream offshore gas pipelines will be decided by Russian gas monopoly Gazprom and shareholders.
Earlier, the media, citing their sources, said that Russia decided to mothball the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines, as there was no plan to repair and implement them.
