Scholz revealed his expectations from the EU summit on the supply of ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The chancellor hopes that the next EU summit will take the next steps to provide ammunition to Ukraine.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hopes next week’s EU summit will take further steps to supply Ukraine with ammunition for the war against Russia. This was announced by the head of the German government in the Bundestag on Thursday, March 16, reports Bild.

“It is especially important to quickly provide Ukraine with the necessary ammunition,” he said.

The chancellor also emphasized that he expects the corresponding decision at the EU summit next week.

He added that Germany is ready “to open its procurement projects to other member states”.

According to him, Berlin will continue to support the Ukrainian state “politically, financially, humanitarianly and with weapons … as long as necessary.”

Remember, on March 3, it was reported that Biden and Scholz discussed support for Ukraine.
