The creation of the so-called aviation coalition for Ukraine is a matter of time. Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“I believe that the creation of such a coalition is a matter of time. As allies, we must mature together for such a decision. Poland is ready to transfer its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine as part of an international coalition,” he said. .
Blaszczak said that there is complete unity between Polish President Andrzej Duda and the country’s government on this issue.
It was previously reported that Poland could supply MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine in the next four to six weeks.
Poland has 28 MiG-29 fighters. The number of aircraft that may be transferred to Ukraine has not yet been announced.
