This is not about moving the former president to Poland or abroad, but about giving access to doctors.
The Polish brigade of doctors will get access to the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili. Radio Liberty correspondent Rikard Jozwiak reported it on Twitter on Thursday, March 16th.
“The Polish medical team has been granted access to Saakashvili. There is no date yet for their trip to Georgia,” he wrote, citing EU officials.
Jozwiak emphasized that it is not about moving the former president to Poland or abroad, but about giving access to doctors.
Recall that on March 12, Saakashvili said that he was “on the verge of death” in the hospital, where he was transferred from prison. Before this, Poland expressed its readiness to receive Saakashvili for treatment.
The European Parliament also demanded that Saakashvili be freed and released for medical treatment abroad.
