The head of the Russian Ministry of Transport complained that 75 aircraft of Russian airlines remained abroad.

More than 70 aircraft of Russian airlines remained abroad after Western countries imposed sanctions. This was stated by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev in a report at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Transport and the Development of Transport Infrastructure.

“Many airlines, unfortunately (after the imposition of EU sanctions for the aggression of the Russian Federation – ed.) agreed to hand over the aircraft,” he said.

The official complained that Russia “lost” 75 planes, “of which almost a quarter were planes that were in checks abroad and under load, but they remained.” Here are 75 cars we lost

The representative of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation also added that 1,297 aircraft are currently in use in Russia, of which 1,167 are passengers.

It will be recalled that the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York issued an arrest warrant for a Boeing aircraft owned by the Russian oil company Rosneft.
