In Kharkov, two people died as a result of a fire in a multi-storey building. This was announced on March 15 by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
It is known that the incident took place on Wednesday at 00.34 at Heroes of Labor Street, 12a and is not related to the shelling of the Russian Federation.
“Household goods were on fire in an apartment on the fifth floor of a residential nine-story building in an area of 4 sq.m. During the fire, rescuers found the bodies of the dead. They “It turned out to be an 87-year-old woman and her 57-year-old son. They were suffocated by carbon monoxide,” the rescuers said.
At 01.05 the fire was localized, and at 01.20 it was completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
