The enemy is conducting unsuccessful offensive operations in five directions, during the day the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 90 attacks.
The main objective of the Russian army in the past day is still attempts to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. To this end, the enemy focused its efforts on conducting offensive operations in the direction of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Miners, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report on March 15.
It was noted that thanks to coordinated actions, the Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 90 enemy attacks.
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The enemy maintains a military presence near the border of the state of Ukraine, but the formation of offensive groups is not detected. At the same time, Russian troops continue to equip the land on the borders of the Bryansk and Kursk regions.
At the direction of Kupyansky and Limansky, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas of Ukraine to prevent the transfer of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also the day before, the Russian army unsuccessfully tried to break the defense of the Ukrainian troops.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy does not abandon attempts to capture the city of Bakhmut, where constant battles continue for the position. Defenders of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of settlements of Yagodnoe, Khromovo and Orekhovo-Vasilovka.
In the direction of Avdeevsk, Maryinsky and Mining, the Russian invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Kamenka, Nevelskoye, Novokalinovo, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Novomikhailovka, Pobeda and Vodiane of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Zaporizhia and Kherson, the enemy conducted defensive operations.
In all these directions, the invaders opened fire on peaceful towns and villages. In total, during the day, Russian troops launched 40 air and 12 missile strikes, and also fired more than 100 shells from multiple launch rocket systems.
One of the missile attacks was carried out in the city of Kramatorsk – a three-story residential building was destroyed, there were dead and injured among the local population.
Another missile attack took place in the city of Zatoka, Odessa region – one of the buildings of the children’s educational institution was damaged by rocket fragments gold fish. There were no casualties or losses to the local population.
In addition, the enemy launched a missile attack on a civilian infrastructure facility in Ivanovka, Kherson region. There were casualties among the local population and at least one private house was damaged.
“The possibility of further missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high,” the General Staff insisted.
During the day, the Ukrainian aviation carried out nine strikes on the concentration areas of the occupiers, three strikes on the deployment sites of air defense systems and three strikes on other important objects of the occupiers.
Missile and artillery units hit three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three command posts of Russian army units, and a deployed enemy air defense position.
It will be remembered, according to the data of March 14, during the war in Ukraine, the Russian Federation lost 160,540 soldiers, as well as 3,484 tanks, 304 aircraft and 289 helicopters.
