“There are still network restrictions in the Zhytomyr and Kharkiv regions due to network damage caused by the most recent attack by the Russians on March 9. With increased consumption in these regions during peak hours, the hourly outage schedules. Also, to eliminate the risk of equipment overload in Kiev and the Kiev region, emergency shutdowns,” the statement said.
The situation in the border regions of Chernihiv and Sumy regions and regions along the front line remains difficult, where the enemy destroys distribution networks with constant shelling.
Now all kinds of power plants are running. There are no regional limitations. Imports of small electrics also continue. Work is underway to restore the operation of power plants damaged by Russian missile and drone attacks.
In turn, DTEK said that today in Kyiv and the Kyiv region they will turn off the light in some areas according to stabilization schedules. These are parts of Goloseevsky, Svyatoshinsky, Shevchenkovsky and Solomensky districts of the capital. Also, stabilization schedules were applied in part of the Buchansky, Obukhovsky and Fastovsky districts of the Kyiv region.
DTEK explained that due to the breakdown of the equipment, the power facilities could not send energy to all the residents of these areas. Therefore, stabilization shutdowns are applied according to schedules.
