In Ukraine, in 2022, the average vaccination rate for children at the age of one year decreased by 10% compared to 2021. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
It was noted that according to the results of last year, the level of vaccination coverage in Ukraine remains below the recommended by WHO.
According to the Ministry of Health, in 2022, a one-year-old child received vaccinations at the level of:

74.1% – against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR);

72.9% – against diphtheria, whooping cough and tetanus;

62.4% – against hepatitis B;

71% – against tuberculosis;

68.9% – against poliomyelitis;
-
69.8% – against hemophilic infection.
At the same time, the vaccination rate in January 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 was higher by an average of 1.5%.
“The rest of the vaccines received in 2022 and the guaranteed supply of vaccines in 2023 will allow us not to interfere with routine vaccination and provide the necessary coverage of the needs of Ukrainians for mandatory vaccination, ” said the Ministry of Health in a statement.
It was previously reported that the Ministry of Health allowed teenagers booster vaccination against COVID-19.
It should be noted that two cases of measles were found in Ukraine.
