The personal restrictions affected nearly 1,500 individuals and 200 legal entities from Russia.
The European Union has extended personal sanctions against nearly 1,500 individuals and 205 legal entities from the Russian Federation over the full-scale military aggression against Ukraine. About that said Brussels correspondent of Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak on his Twitter account on Monday, March 13.
“The asset freeze and entry ban for 1,473 people and 205 legal entities imposed by the EU for actions aimed at undermining the territorial integrity of Ukraine has been extended for six months,” the journalist said.
According to him, despite some speculation, nothing was left out of the list.
As previously reported, on February 25, EU authorities approved the 10th package of sanctions against Russia.
In addition, the EU included three large banks in the sanctions package – Tinkoff, Alfa-Bank and Rosbank. Their assets on the territory of EU countries will be frozen, transactions with them are prohibited, banks are not connected to SWIFT.
