General Nikolyuk resigned as commander of OK Sever

Viktor Nikolyuk will assume the duties of the training commander of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Major General Viktor Nikolyuk resigned as commander of Operational Command North. He announced this on Facebook on Monday, March 13.

According to him, Brigadier General Dmitry Krasilnikov became the new commander of OK Sever.

“I transferred the battle flag of OK Sever and the powers of the commander to the reliable hands of Brigadier General Dmitry Krasilnikov and I began the duties of the training commander of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Wrote Nikoliuk.

Remember, on February 14, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk as First Deputy Minister of Defense. Previously, he was the commander of the group of forces and means of defense of Kyiv.
